SYNOPSIS
About fifteen years have passed since the incident. Álvaro and
Fede, two young men in their twenties, walk through desert
landscapes searching for food inside abandoned ruins.
Looking at the rain puddles at the bottom of a metal tub, Fede
remembers his parents’ house by the sea. The boys decide to
embark on the journey back home.

BIOFILMOGRAFÍA
MARIO SUÁREZ
Murcia, 1999. Graduated in Film Direction from ECAM, with a scholarship granted by Warner Bros. His work explores contemporary generational issues through audiovisual language. He seeks to construct new imaginaries arising from the decay of capitalist society, relating them to his own experiences.
In this way, he transforms his stories into narratives more closely related to science fiction or magical realism.
His first short film, El Abuelo, was screened at festivals in Spain, Colombia, Mexico,Tanzania, and India. Lo que quedará de nosotros, his final school project, was
selected for the Thessaloniki Film Festival in Greece and the Libélula Dorada Festival in the Dominican Republic, among others.
