CLAUDIA GARCÍA DE MATEOS
Claudia García de Mateos (Valencia, 1997). Graduated in Fine Arts and holds a Master's degree in Artistic Production with a specialization in Contemporary Thought and Audiovisual Media.
She works in parallel as a documentary filmmaker and in the camera department, both as director of photography (Cecilia Bartolomé. Tan lluny, tant aprop; Ignorant) and as a video assistant (La ruta Vol. 2; La cena; Pequeños Calvarios).
Her documentary projects are 'El pisito' (2024), a short film nominated for Best Documentary Short Film at the 7th Lola Gaos Awards of the Valencian Audiovisual Academy; 'Los chicos con las chicas' (2025), a short film that won the award for Best Documentary Short Film at the 8th Lola Gaos Awards of the Valencian Audiovisual Academy; 'Deprisa deprisa', a short film currently in distribution, and 'Retrato de una cerilla', an experimental documentary feature and her debut film, in post-production, that has the support of ICAA and IVC.
