BIO-FILMOGRAPHY
ISMAEL SORDO
Ismael Sordo (1998) is a young filmmaker from Cabezón de la Sal, Cantabria. In 2021 he graduated in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, after spending one of those years in Boston, thanks to a scholarship granted by the Ramón Areces Foundation and the university itself.
Both in the field of art installations and film, his work focuses on the exploration of identity through the representation of physical environments as engines to study the symbolic and abstract, incorporating disciplines such as architecture, graphic design or print media in the process.
He is currently continuing his studies in a MFA in Film and Television Screenwriting at Universidad Carlos III, in collaboration with the spanish screenwriters' union ALMA.
