BIO-FILMOGRAPHY
BEGO D. BERENGUER
Bego D. Berenguer (Madrid, 1995) trained as a graphic designer, but composition and aesthetics soon led her to film as a natural territory for experimentation. She specialised in documentary after completing two master’s degrees: Documentary Film Directing at EICTV (Cuba) and Self-referential First-Person Cinema at MasterLAV (Madrid).
For the past six years she has combined university teaching in Audiovisual Studies (with a focus on documentary film) with projects in music videos, photography and creative direction. She is currently developing new pieces that expand her practice toward hybrid forms between cinema and visual essay, guided by an intimate and politically attentive gaze.
Her debut as a director is My Last Great Mountain.
