SYNOPSIS
Antolín lives with Alzheimer's disease, and his memory is slowly fading away. He is one of the last witnesses of a generation shaped by war, hunger, and dictatorship. As forgetfulness erases dates, names, and places, his family attempts to preserve what still remains. His daughter asks questions and reconstructs the past; his grandson observes and films. Between what Antolín remembers and what he can no longer recall, the film becomes a struggle against oblivion.
BIO-FILMOGRAPHY
PABLO P- MÉNDEZ-KODIAK
Pablo P. Méndez-Kodiak (1998, Puertollano, Ciudad Real) is an audiovisual director and producer whose work explores the intersection of cinema, television, and theoretical studies. He spent part of his childhood summers at his family’s open-air cinema. He later moved to Madrid, where he graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid, completed a dual diploma in Audiovisual Production and Creative Documentary Film at Instituto del Cine, and earned a Master’s Degree in Transmedia Documentary Film from Carlos III University of Madrid.
His professional career has developed across film production and directing, television, and transmedia storytelling. To date, his work has focused on the convergence of (dis/counter-)memory and archival practices. He is currently exploring new forms of storytelling centred on the critique of surveillance capitalism, drawing on technologies such as AI and data trafficking, through his upcoming project, Living In A Bit (2027).
