SYNOPSIS
My mother always told me that I could be whatever I wanted. Through home videos recorded
in my childhood, I talk about my education and my relationship with art. María, Catuxa and Aroa,
three emerging Galician artists, complete this reflection while showing their work. This
documentary opens a dialogue between the domestic archive and interviews, addressing topics
such as freedom, women, rural culture and the importance of roots.

BIO-FILMOGRAPHY
CLARA MASEDA
She was born in Ribadeo (Lugo) in 1999, where her interest in music, dance and acting aroused. She trained in contemporary, traditional Galician and urban dance in different schools and studied a Double Bachelors Degree in Audiovisual Communication and Journalism in Santiago de Compostela, the city where she has been living since 2017. In 2021, she completed university internships at Miramemira, a production company, where she continues working in the production department on different projects. During the filming of The Rye Horn (Jaione Camborda, 2023), she begins to become interested in working as a director and, motivated to tell her own story, she starts to work on her first documentary short film, She looks, in which she recovers the home video archive of her childhood, recorded by her mother.
